My Statement

I am a student studying business who has a strong passion for the sporting industry and an interest in building a career that revolves around combining athlete development and the business side of sport. As I am both a student and elite athlete in the sport of Golf, I have developed adaptability, discipline and the ability to manage myself in high-pressure environments.

Currently, my primarily interest involves exploring opportunities within the athlete management sector, including the areas of partnerships, representation and branding. I am interested to learn how athletes can further benefit from not only their performance but also benefit from building and sustaining successful careers beyond competition. This would include displaying how self-marketing and strategic decision making can shape an athlete’s long term opportunities within the industry.

With built and strong interpersonal skills, I value creating genuine relationships and working closely with others in a team environment. My experiences have allowed me to bring a well-rounded perspective into any environment, constantly learn, and effectively contribute plus adapt in both team, individual and professional settings. 

Mainly, my goal is to continue developing my skills and knowledge within the sporting industry while working towards a professional sporting career. These aspects combine my passion for golf with business strategy, personal and long term development, whilst creating a meaningful contribution to the industry.

Sport Career

Throughout my life I have played many sports, Golf of which is my current profession. For 10 years now, the experience from competitive golf has played a significant role in developing my discipline, resilience and mental strength. From both training and competition, I have taught myself how to manage under pressure, remain focused and consistent in highly performing environments. The sport has taught me that patience, improvement, accountability and progress is built slowly but surely over consistent efforts. These years of experiences have not only shaped my tactics within the sport but have also been influential to how I approach challenges in other areas of my life, including, study and work. This mindset is and will continue to develop to support me both personally and professionally.

Jobs - Victoria Park Golf Complex

Starting in 2025, my job at Victoria Park Golf Complex has provided me with valuable experience within the sport and golf industry. Throughout the past year, I have worked across retail, customer service and operations. Inclusively I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills while assisting wide range of customers. My responsibilities include managing bookings, handling transactions, responding to enquiries, and supporting the overall daily operations of the venue. This fast-paced environment has strengthened my ability to stay organised, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a high standard of professionalism. This experience has given me practical insight into the business side of golf, reinforcing my interest in pursuing a career within the sport industry.
